            In the field of IT industry, the development of Video Games has its own power all over the world. Most of the people (especially the students of IT’s and NON IT’s) play lots and lots of computer games and just entertained themselves. But more than 60%(as per my view) of students doesn’t think the development of the game. They just download the game and play it. Many of them are not aware of creating the games by their own.

            So, to create a Game, first you should have Game Engines.

What is Game Engines?

            “A Game Engine is a system which is been especially designed for the creation and development of computer games.”

How this Game Engines are useful?

            It is helpful for the game designers to code a game quickly and easily, rather than building the game from the Basics.

            There are many Game Engines available in the market, some of them are:

                        1. Blender

                        2. IwGame Engine

                        3. jMonkey Engine

                        4. Exult

                        5. jogre 

Do we need any Programming skills for using this Game Engines?

            “YES”, we need a good programming knowledge.

In which programming knowledge does this Game Engine depends on?

            Nearly 80% of the Game Engines depends on C and C++ concepts, rest are all depends on Java, Python and other programming language.

            The Game Engines are available in 2D and 3D. At present 3D are very famous. The 3D Game Engines uses API (Application Programming Interface) for their graphics development.

Many of the Game Engines tools are available in free of cost and all the Game Engines tools are Open Source.
