This image tells the Thudyalur Police Station name board. See how the board is damaged, and it is impossible to read the content from the board.

Government is not taking care of these things. Since Police plays an vital role in the society they have to take care of these things.

  

            The construction of road work between Coimbatore to Mettupalayam is in progress right now, so that the HIGHWAYS Department has removed the BOARD from that place.

Since, the blogger was searching for the more sources regarding this article, it can’t be able to post it in right time.

Let’s wait and see whether the Thudyalur Police will keep the new BOARD or not after the HIGHWAY's Construction.

JMONKEY ENGINE

Yesterday when I was browsing in googlecode project, I came to know this jMONKEY GAME ENGINE.

This JMONKEY ENGINE is also called as jME, which is an 3D Game Engine Software his JMONKEY GAME ENGINE was written entirely in Java.

This jMONKY GAME ENGINE is a software which is used for designing and developing the Games. The jMONKEY ENGINE3 SDK Beta version has been released in the market. Since, I am a great fan of Computer games development I shared this article.

But more than 60%(as per my view) of students doesn’t think the development of the game. They just download the game and play it. Many of them are not aware of creating the games by their own.

            So, to create a Game, first you should have Game Engines.

What is Game Engines?

            “A Game Engine is a system which is been especially designed for the creation and development of computer games.”

How this Game Engines are useful?

            It is helpful for the game designers to code a game quickly and easily, rather than building the game from the Basics.

List some important Game Engines?

            There are many Game Engines available in the market, some of them are:

                        1. Blender

                        2. IwGame Engine

                        3. jMonkey Engine

                        4. Exult

                        5. jogre 

Do we need any Programming skills for using this Game Engines?

            “YES”, we need a good programming knowledge.

In which programming knowledge does this Game Engine depends on?

            Nearly 80% of the Game Engines depends on C and C++ concepts, rest are all depends on Java, Python and other programming language.

            The Game Engines are available in 2D and 3D. At present 3D are very famous. The 3D Game Engines uses API (Application Programming Interface) for their graphics development.

Many of the Game Engines tools are available in free of cost and all the Game Engines tools are Open Source.

So as an IT student and the users of computers games it is must to know about these Game Engines and have to start develop their own games to bring their ideas and dreams into reality. Let’s discuss more about these Game Engines in forthcoming article.

So I suggest my readers to learn any one of the Game Engines and make out some new projects.

EXPIRY DATE OF LPG CYLINDER

We used to see expiry date for food items, snacks, and FM-CG products (Fast Moving Consumable Goods). So let’s me ask one question to you,

How many of them see expiry date for the LPG Cylinder, which is been used daily in your kitchen?

          Yes! There is an expiry date for the LPG Cylinder. I think many of them knows this information.Well Right..!!! this post is especially dedicated to the people those who don’t know about the expiry date checking in LPG Cylinders.

How to check the expiry date of the LPG Cylinder?

          The LPG Cylinder consists of three stems surrounded by the circle on the top. This is the common structure of the LPG Cylinder.

          So, on one of the three side of the steam of cylinder the expiry date will be displayed in Alpha Numeric code.

Alpha characters – A or B or C or D (which represents the Quarters)

Numeric – any two digits (which represents the year)

Example:

  D-06 or D06

  A-15 or A15

  C-09 or C09

  

Here the alphabet A, B, C, and D stands for the quarter’s i.e.

1.     A stands for First Quarter i.e. (January, February and March)

2.     B stands for Second Quarter i.e. (April, May and June)

3.     C stands for Third Quarter i.e. (July, August and September)

4.     D stands for Fourth Quarter i.e. (October, November and December)

The digit stands for the year which tells the information about  how long the cylinder is valid.

   

REAL TIME EXAMPLE:

The below image (Fig – a) displayed is taken in my home, here you can see the Alpha Numeric code as B-13, and so it means that my LPG Cylinder is valid up to June 2013.

The below image (Fig – b) displayed is taken from web, here you can see the Alpha Numeric code as D-06, and so it means that the LPG Cylinder is valid up to December 2006 and hence it is expired.

So while getting the LPG Cylinder from the vendor please check for the code and buy the cylinder or else please return back the cylinder. Since by using the expired LPG Cylinder there is the chance to leaking of gas and other dangerous accidents. Don’t waste your time guys, go and check your LPG Cylinder right now in your kitchen, and teach this to your parents and please make awareness to as many number of peoples.

WORKING WITH STEGANOGRAPHY

What is Steganography?

            It is the art of writing messages in such a way that no one, apart from the sender and the receiver, can extract the hidden message.

Techniques in Steganography:

            In common the techniques of Steganography are categorized into five types they are as follows:

            1. Physical Steganography

            2. Digital Steganography

            3. Network Steganography

            4. Printed Steganography

            5. Audio/Video/Text Steganography

         Now I deal with 5^th technique of Steganography with a real time demo.

AUDIO/VIDEO/TEXT STEGANOGRAPHY

What is AUDIO/VIDEO/TEXT STEGANOGRAPHY?

            An art of sending the data (can be of .doc or .txt or .pdf) to the destination place as a jpeg image format.

If the third party person views the image means he can able to view only the jpeg image not the data what you have hidden inside the image. Only sender and receiver can able to see the data inside the image.

To perform this AUDIO/VIDEO/TEXT STEGANOGRAPHY make sure that Win RAR Software has be installed in your system.

Follow the below Steps to hide the document file inside the image file:

STEP 1: Open a WordPad file and type your secrete message that have to be passed to the destination place.

STEP 2: Save the document is a desired disk location.

I stored this file in Local Disk (D)

STEP 3: Close the word document.

STEP 4: Go to the location in which you have saved the word file. Right Click on the word file and select ADD TO “YOUR FILE NAME.rar” option.

Here my file name is “file.doc”

STEP 5: After completing the step 4 you will get a rar file of your word document.

DEMO:

STEP 6: Select any one image in which you want to hide the document inside the image. The image should be either (.jpg or .gif ) and make sure that the image also should be in the same location were you saved the document file and its rar file.

STEP 7: Now open the command prompt and type the below command.

C:\Users\WELCOME>d:  (Select the drive in which you have stored your rar and jpg files)

D:\>copy /b dog.jpg+file.rar newdog.jpg

Here /b helps to convert the document file into binary file and embeds the binary file inside the image.

Syntax: copy /b image name.extension+filename.rar newfilename.jpg

Eg: copy /b dog.jpg+file.rar newdog.jpg

After executing the command you will find a newimage in your specified location.

STEP 8: Now close the command prompt, and delete the respected file except the newfile which you have created via command prompt.

STEP 9: Now right click the newimage file that you have created via command prompt and open it with WinRAR archiver to extract the document file.

DEMO:

As soon as you click the WinRAR archiver, a WinRAR Window opens with the document which contains your seceret messge. You can extract the file from WinRAR application and view the file.

If a third person double clicks on the below image means they can able to see only the dog face. But only the sender and the receiver knows that the image is stegnograped.

Madhan Karky - The Rise of Damo

Madhan Karky is the eldest son of great lyricist writer Vairmuthu. Hope we all have watched 7amm arivu film. In that film the song name “The Rise of Damo” was written by Madhan Karky. The lyric of the song is in Chinese language, and the song was sung by a Chinese singer named Ha Wang. The Lyrics of the song “The Rise of Damo” is as follows:

In the above lyrics the third stanza is written in Tamil, and the Chinese singer Ha Wang also sang the song in Tamil language. How many of them noticed it. Just test your skills:

An Interesting Fact about Madhan Karky:

            Since Madhan Karky is the son of great lyricist Vairmuthu, he also becomes a lyricist in film industry. He completed his bachelor degree in computer engineering at the College of Engineering, Guindy. Moreover he completed his Post Graduate in Information Technology at The University of Queensland, Australia and an interesting fact is that, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the same University and he is a Software Engineer too.

             When I came to know that Madhan Karky is a Software Engineer and worked as a Assistant Professor I  remembered about my college professor Mr.V.Kannan. He is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at KGiSL - Institute of Information Management, Coimbatore.

            Now - a - days my professor also started writing his own poems in terms of remake of other poets Lyrics as in the form of computer oriented languages. So far he has written two songs like that, ultimately the lyrics of the two songs were originally written by Madhan Karky’s father Vairamuthu.
