The C Program was developed in AT&T Bell Laboratory, many of them thinks that Bell Laboratory is only for computer oriented inventions, but that is not the fact, the real facts of Bell Labs are as follows:

2. AT&T Bell Laboratories (American Telephone & Telegraph)
3. Bell Telephone Laboratories
Alexander Graham Bell invented telephone in Bell Labs.
On March 10,1876 was the first call made by Alexander Graham Bell to his assistant.
This invention of telephone made the beginning of a revolution in communication and commerce all over the globe.
This is the first word spoken over the telephone which is recorded in the Alexander Graham Bell’s Assistant Mr.Watson’s notebook.
The word is:
“Mr.Watson! Come here! I want you!”
The duration of the first phone call was 3 seconds.

The year 1970 – 1980 was the year in which computer related inventions was invented more in Bell Laboratories.
Dennis Ritchie was the man who started the revolution in computer field in Bell Labs. Later Ken Thompson joined with Dennis Ritchie in Bells Labs.

The Bell Laboratories have awarded Seven Nobel prizes from the year 1937 – 2009.
The Logo of Bell Laboratory:
When Dennis Ritchie joined in Bell Labs at 1967 this was the logo of Bell Laboratory.
When Ken Thompson joined with Dennis Ritchie in Bell Laboratory the logo was updated.
Later in 1984, the logo was upgraded as "AT &T Bell Laboratories”
Since Bell Lab has good relation with Lucent Company (A Global communication Industry) the new corporate logo "Bell Labs Innovations” was made in 1996.
